The Trendiness of Women's Rings

Rings are no longer worn by women just to tell the world that they are married or engaged. There are several types of rings that are quite symbolic, and are used in dynamic ways to pass across tacit messages. Such rings are designed with varying combinations of gemstones, and they are come in different shapes and sizes.

Although one cannot be negligent of the fact that rings are worn and viewed as fashion accessories but there are more implicit reasons why a lady would want to wear a ring on a particular hand. For instance, divorce rings- which are usually characterized by the presence of a gap- are seen as signifying a new lease of life, and healing from a broken heart. Nonetheless, there are rings that are designed [and worn] to celebrate singleness; an example of such, is the 'Ah' Ring which means that the person wearing it, is 'Available and happy'- with this on your right fourth finger, you let folks know that being single is no plague and/or a state of boredom. And should be looking to ward off some unwelcome advances [while still single], you can get an Ms. Taken ring- a ring in the mold of an engagement ring-  that creates an impression- albeit a false one- that you are not available. This particular ring might help you 'divert the traffic' to some extent.

But the truth is: these rings which are intended to project singles' status, sometimes defeat the purpose for which they were worn. Rather than turning away the 'traffic'- the admirer to be more specific; the ring ends up being a template upon which conversations are struck, and then a date looms- it's only logical to say that it takes more than a ring to stay single.
